In 2024, our production of Next to Normal became one of our most celebrated artistic achievements, captivating audiences with its extraordinary performances and powerful storytelling. Now, two years later, the original cast and director reunite for a fully staged revival, bringing fresh designs, enhanced technical elements, and new perspective to the production that helped define High Tide’s early success.

Winner of three Tony Awards and the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, Next to Normal is a deeply moving contemporary musical exploring family, love, grief, and the complexities of mental illness. With an unforgettable score and an intimate, emotionally resonant story, the musical challenges audiences to consider what it means to find connection, healing, and hope when life is anything but ordinary.
