God of Carnage

A Tony Award-winning comedy with bite is up next at High Tide.

God of Carnage by Yasmina Reza begins with civility and quickly unravels into chaos. When two sets of parents meet to discuss a playground altercation between their children, the conversation starts politely enough — but as the evening progresses, social niceties fall away and the adults prove they may be the real problem.

Darkly funny, sharply written, and uncomfortably honest, God of Carnage is a fast, fierce 90-minute comedy about marriage, parenting, ego, and the thin line between civilized behavior and total disorder.

Performances run July 23–25 at The Lightroom Lounge at Martha’s Vineyard. Only four public performances. Limited seating. VIP Tables for Two are available.
