About the Show

Equal parts hilarious, haunting, and heartwarming, Ride the Cyclone is a cult-favorite musical by Jacob Richmond and Brooke Maxwell that has captivated audiences worldwide with its originality and emotional depth.

The story begins when the Saint Cassian High School Chamber Choir tragically dies in a freak roller coaster accident. They soon find themselves in a carnival-like limbo where a mysterious fortune-telling machine offers one of them the chance to return to life. As each choir member takes the stage to share their story through eclectic, genre-hopping songs, the musical weaves together themes of mortality, identity, and what it means to truly live.

With a vibrant score ranging from pop ballads to rap to cabaret-style showstoppers, Ride the Cyclone is both an irreverent comedy and a poignant reflection on the human experience. Its fast-paced wit and unforgettable characters make it an exhilarating ride from start to finish—one that will leave audiences laughing, crying, and humming long after the curtain falls.
